Gala Dinner to celebrate the 375th anniversary of the founding of New Sweden while honoring the King and Queen of Sweden and the President of Finland and his wife with a reception and dinner for more than 750 guests.
On behalf of Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden, I would like to extend to you their deep gratitude for all that you did to make the 375th Anniversary Celebration of the founding of New Sweden and their visit to Wilmington such a success. Your tireless involvement helped to ensure that we can anticipate continuing cooperation between our two countries as we head toward the next 375 years of amity and trade. Thank you for your endless work, your professionalism and your diplomatic skills in coordinating and carrying out the 375th Anniversary Jubilee dinner.
